Binalakshmi Nepram featured in La Línea del Medio

Writing for La Línea del Medio, Colombia-based journalist Laura Gil recently wrote an article about Binalakshmi Nepram’s work in the Manipur region of Northeast India, entitled “17 peace processes and not a single woman: Binalakshmi Nepram”.

Her interview highlights Nepram’s work to end the militarization imposed on the people of the state of Manipur by the Indian government, and the importance of including women in the political and socio-economic decision-making process.
