Join Our “Be a Colleague Campaign”

At the New University in Exile Consortium, our mission is to work with endangered scholars to try and lessen the profound sense of dislocation that exiled scholars suffer and which adversely impacts their intellectual and personal lives. Today, members of the New University in Exile Consortium are hosting more than 300 exiled scholars from 30 countries.

Exiled scholars thrive when their colleagues help them navigate their new academic environments. This support enables them to continue their important work. You can help by joining our “Be a Colleague Campaign” to provide threatened scholars with the resources they need. Every gift goes towards programs that help endangered scholars thrive. We are grateful for gifts in any amount.

Your gift will support:

– The hosting of threatened scholars at Consortium member universities
– Weekly Scholars Forum
– Annual Retreat
– Increase the number of free Co-led Online Seminars taught by our scholars
– Maintain the Library Access Initiative for stranded scholars
– Access to pro bono mental health and legal services, career planning resources…and much more!

We hope you will consider “Becoming a Colleague,” and encourage you to share this appeal with others.
