Monday, October 2, 2023
12:00pm ET
Rutgers University New Brunswick, room AB 6051 & Online

The panel has been organized in support of the month-long campaign to free our former colleague Gubad Ibadoghlu, who has been detained under brutal and life-threatening conditions in a Baku prison (see https://freegubad.com/).

Participants include Audrey Altstadt (UMass-Amherst), Kate Watters (Crude Accountability), and Jamil Hasanli (National Endowment for Democracy; formerly of Baku State University). Emin Bayramli, a Rutgers undergraduate and son of Ibadoghlu, will offer opening words.
