While our primary mission is to support displaced scholars hosted by our member institutions, the New University in Exile Consortium also seeks to respond to urgent needs and emerging crises when academic freedom is threatened. Since our founding in 2018, we have undertaken a range of special initiatives that extend our commitment beyond our core mission.
