Co-Led Online Seminars

The Consortium’s Co-Led Online Seminars are taught by two endangered scholars – one who is hosted by a Consortium member institution, and the other a colleague of their choice. The seminars connect exiled and stranded scholars to the academic community they have lost, give voice to their expertise which has been silenced by circumstances, reconnect students and professors, and offer free, online learning opportunities to learners around the world who might not otherwise have access. These seminars introduce our scholars to a very wide global audience and cover many subjects that are often of current geopolitical relevance. Since 2019, Consortium seminars have attracted over 15,000 registrants from 156 countries.

The New University in Exile Consortium is proud to offer a new Certificate in Gender Studies.

Qualifying seminars for the Certificate in Gender Studies are indicated in seminar descriptions below, and can be completed on an ongoing basis. Certificates are non-credit bearing. We hope you will join us in this exciting new initiative.
